Canvas is toenailed into frame; canvas not inspected out of frame. Surface soiling and grime. A dark scuff line at upper right. Paint cracking in denser areas and high points of impasto scattered throughout, most apparent in black and brown pigments. A small section of pigment at center left is cracked and lifting, but apparently stable. A similar area of partial lifting at center right. Two small losses at upper center exposing canvas weave. No evidence of restoration under UV inspection.
