Not able to examine out of its frame (the stretcher is nailed to it); dirty, yellowed varnish; partially visible stretcher marks; there is a 5 x 7 1/2 inch area of impact craquelure at left center; unable to detect restoration through the dulling varnish under UV light; there appears to be a two inch surface scuff at upper center; several tiny paint flakes along the top stretcher bar mark.
