The Comite Picasso has confirmed the authenticity of this work. It is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the Comite Picasso, signed by Paloma Ruiz-Picasso and Diana Widmaier-Ruiz-Picasso, dated October 17, 2024. It is registered in their archives under Ref. 0182.
Scattered foxing; hinged to mat from the top verso corners (had once been hinged from the bottom corners); matburn; small spot of discoloration at the upper right center edge; minor crease in the lower left corner; this work was conserved in 2005. According to the conservation report, it was very lightly cleaned in order to protect the ink pigments; they deacidified the sheet, tape was removed and they reduced the residue at the top verso corners; it had been backed; the sheet was pressed to reduce the rippling.
