Both sheets are free within frames and not hinged or tipped to backing. Both sheets are in overall good condition, with no apparent losses or notable wear. The collaged elements on the upper piece appear fully adhered to the sheet with no apparent lifting, loss, or rippling. Some glue marks along edges, consistent with the materials and presentation of the work. Both sheets have areas of grey impasto, and there are a few small instances on the larger of the two sheets where the grit inherent to the medium has slid, leaving marks on the surface of the work. The outer plexi cases show general wear, grime and surface scratches. The plexi casing of the smaller upper piece has broken at two seams at the corners (not within face of work, but on overlap/sides) and these two seams have been taped over. The reverse of both sheets show faint toning, though no evidence of toning is apparent on the face of either sheet.
